The Band • Elese • Stephen • Nick • Jay

For the Love of Sloane is a four piece original rock band from the biggest little state in the union, Rhode Island. FTLOS is vocalist Elese Morrone, guitarist Stephen Moniz, bassist Nick Magendantz, and drummer Jay Jefferson. They formed mid 2007 and have quickly become a family as much as a band that is hoping to help breath life back into the Providence music scene. Each individual band member brings their heart and soul, as well as a wide range of influences to the song writing process, which helps in the originality and diversity of their sound. The band takes their time writing each song, trying to avoid the usual songwriting formulas and clichs while still writing songs with catchy hooks, driving beats, and memorable melodies. FTLOS released the Bitter EP in 2008 and has since had a number of songs hold the number 1 position for weeks at a time on OurStage.com, including Bitter, Ghost, Dig Deeper, So What If..., and Drying Blue. Their EP is available on iTunes and has already had sales in the US, Canada, UK, Japan, Denmark, Germany, Turkey and Australia. For the Love of Sloane are currently working on their first full length CD.
